The Camellia Festival 2014, 'Rare Blooms in a Glorious Setting' is on now at Chiswick House until 30th March. The Camellias of Chiswick House are widely regarded as one of the finest collections in the country and are certainly the oldest Camellia Collection under glass in the west. Visit during the Festival and you will see rare and historically important examples of beautiful plants in the setting of the historic and fully restored Conservatory and the formal Italian Garden, celebrating 200 years (1814-2014).

The Grove Park Music Festival has kicked off in 2014, with a Spring Concert of Wells Virtuosi, musicians from the string department of Wells Cathedral School. Conducted by Matthew Souter and with a programme including works by Mendelssohn, Strauss, Hindemith and Respighi, the concert, at St Nicholas’ Church, W4 2PH, was among the first of this year's Festival.

St. Michael's Players' next production will be "Funny Money" by Ray Cooney, running at the St. Michael's Centre from WED APRIL 9 to SAT APRIL 14. Directed by Dave Lye, it features a stellar cast in a comedy concerning a mild mannered accountant, the wrong briefcase, illicit cash and hilarious consequences.

Hounslow Highways have announced that the following streets will be seeing upgrades to their street lighting from February 24th to 2nd March:
Brooks Lane (Thames Road to Waldeck Road); St. Thomas Road (Grove Park Terrace to Fauconberg Road); Nightingale Close (Grove Park Terrace to Nightingale Close); Deans Close (Junction of Gordon Road to the end of the road); Burnaby Crescent (Grove Park Terrace to Burnaby Gardens); Burnaby Gardens (Junction of Florence Gardens to Wolseley Gardens).
Lights will also be upgraded on the footpath from Herbert Gardens to Deans Close.
